Elijah 3 months old!

Weight- 11.4 lbs
Height- 22 in
Clothes- 0-3
Diaper size- 1
Shoe size- 1

Likes- swinging, soft blankets, Sister, waking up right before a hot meal is served, nursing. Looking at a fire, Christmas lights

Dislikes- having to be put down mid feed, when Sister gets a little rough, having his nose sucked

Firsts- once again Elijah had a big month of meeting new family. Pops (Steve's dad) came with Nana for Christmas. They both enjoyed meeting and dreaming of all the exciting adventures they would have as he gets older. Aunt Becca (Laura's sister) came just in time for New Years. She loves him too! To say he was spoiled by both of them was an understatement! But who are we to stop the family from loving on our babies!

Christmas- For the second time our child was tasked with playing th part of Jesus. He did this in both our live nativity and in the Christmas musical. He did a great job and everyone loved having a real baby Jesus! Christmas morning was nice and relaxing. Elijah did a lot of relaxing. To be truthful Elijah slept through almost all of it! No need to worry when you have a two year old sister. She will gladly help you open all of your gifts! Santa brought him a door jumper which we look forward to trying out very soon!

Personality- our little man continues to be a very content chill guy. He doesn't fuss much at all. It was hard to come up with things he dislikes because it doesn't seem like he has many. We often say we thought Ruth was easy but Elijah is a price of cake compared to her! (It also could have something to do with the almost 3 months of solid help!!!) he is starting to smile more regularly which makes things so fun!

Sleep- we have hit the jackpot with sleepers! He is regularly sleeping from 11pm-6am! That makes for one very happy Mama! He is taking about 5 naps a day which seems like a ton! We attribute it to our much more fluid schedule then the one we had with Ruth. He does great even when we are not at home on Ruth's school days.

Schedule:
5-7 wake and nurse
6-8ish nap
11ish wake and nurse
12ish nap
3-4ish wake and nurse
5- nap
8- wake and nurse
9- nap
11ish wake and feed
11ish- night night!
